Ingredients

  • 12 oz. pasta pick one your kids love -- tri color is so much fun!
  • 2 cups broccoli florets chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Tastefully Simple Mama Mia Marinara Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tri-color rotini pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. During the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, add the chopped broccoli to the pot. Drain the pasta and broccoli in a colander and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic and Mama Mia Marinara Seasonings and cook for 1-2 minutes until butter is browned.
  • Pour the milk into the skillet, and then gradually add the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring constantly to create a smooth, creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the cheese sauce, stirring gently to evenly coat the pasta and vegetables.
  • Gently stir in the halved cherry tomatoes, taking care not to break them.
  • Remove from heat and let the dish sit for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Optional: Garnish with fresh basil or parsley for an added pop of color and flavor.
